Urban skimboard appropriation d’espace

Embezzle a public space in an original way and broadcast the information much as possible...That’s was this Skim’adventure is about.The story begins with a 4 millions euro water’mirror set up on Bordeaux quay. This structure was built recently to reflect the beauty of the landscape around. I’ve choosen not to be only an spectator but rather an Actor... And skim on it. Much more poetic and amazing than a skateboarder sliding on a public bench, Skim sessions are something we never seen before in a town. At the beggining , It was only an game now it’s also a political debat with many themas : What belong to the citizens? What are the limits of a “public” space? In what mesure Sport can be Art ? When we go skimboarding on the mirror, we are sure to hear a mix of complaints and applauses. That proves the performance works : people cares and we can argue about it. How to widely broadcast the information?

First of all, videos i made were broadcasted on Youtube.com (more than 7000 views now), then extempore transfered to about ten differents blogs.
